What a beautiful night.
I’m outside in my comfy sweatshirt and basketball shorts playing fetch with my hyper active dog, Zoey, listening to the waterfall in my grandma in-law’s pond. Such peace.
At this point in time you might be thinking, “Wait, you just said it’s night time, and listening to your grandma’s pond? Why aren’t you at home?” Well that’s a darn good question, thanks for askin!
We are currently homeless. 2 adults. 2 dogs. 2 babies under 1 year, and we don’t have a home! Just kidding. We are between houses right now. We sold our 1st home last month and are living with my in-laws until our new house officially closes. Which will hopefully be within the next week or 2!
Off topic, but I just finished reading this book by John Green called “Looking for Alaska”. Ever heard of it? It’s written very well and has a good story line to it, but I didn’t much care towards the end. I mean, *spoiler alert*, why didn’t he somehow write the story to tell us how she died?! We are left wondering. Thinking “well maybe she rammed into that cop car because she was mad at herself for missing her mother’s death anniversary?” I guess that’s part of the mystery but I hate books like that! I need to know everything going on by the time I get to the last page. God I haven’t picked up or read a book since I found out I was pregnant with the twins! I use to be able to read 2 or 3 books at a time! Now look at me…getting juice bottles and changing pee filled diapers while the boys roll around and get wiggly.
What are some good books you’ve read? I need some recommendations. Sorry for the complete random post…my mind is all over the place at the moment. Maybe I should just go to bed…even though it’s only 8:30 p.m….
