Hi.
It’s been a while I suppose…well actually it’s been almost 3 years since I last visited and talked to you all. WordPress randomly popped in my head the other day and it’s been on my brain since to come back and write. So I tried logging into this account, and after a few tries…well…here I am.
My plan was to come in here and delete all my posts so I could start new – a clean slate if you will. But I got caught up in reading my old posts, drawing attention to my most recent one from January 2019. I had completely forgotten about that week. That very hard and trying week of a baby teething his molars (turns out, he was teething his molars but ALSO we learned he cannot sleep in a fleece onesie, he was too sweaty and has been sleeping in basketball shorts ever since). The most important thing was that I was taken back to those times I wrote about over 2 years ago and it was like a walk down memory lane that I had forgotten about.
And you know what? I’m keeping them.
I’m keeping them up, I’ll try to print them out and save them because those were my feelings and raw emotions back then that I blocked out. So I am still going to start on a clean slate, but just know that the ones you see below this post…those are for my memories to hold onto.
My twins are 4 years old now and are enrolled in preschool. We are in speech and occupational therapy because they hardly talk and do not eat regular table food (well, Baby A eats chicken nuggets and pizza). It’s been a very emotional ride to say the least without going into details, but we’ve come a very long way since my January 2019 post.
So I am back. I’m going to use this to connect to people, and let someone out there know that they are not alone in the parenting world and we’re all in this together (I’m not cueing High School Musical music here!).
